James Nightingale

James is a Sydney born, Vancouver based, film- maker, writer, photographer and adventurer passionate about planting seeds for change. As the man behind the powerful and thought-provoking short film Breaking Ice, James doesn't shy away from putting himself in uncomfortable situations.  He's now pioneering a project looking into the impact of WWII on his Mother's native Papau New Guinea with the main star his 89 year old Grandmother.

As a person James is the epitome of everything The Happiness Compass stands for and strives to be; authentic, inspired, free-thinking, curious, passionate and visionary.
